GULF SHORES, Ala. Graveside services for Earl Edwin "Duke" Hosey Sr. will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bay Springs Cemetery with Baldwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hosey, 90, of Bay Springs, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, in Foley, Ala. He retired from the U.S. Army as a major in 1945. He served as a real estate broker in Bay Springs and as a U.S. Marshall.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Hosey Jr. of Houston, Texas, and George Hosey of Jackson; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

DEKALB Services for Mable Kirk Welch will be held Saturday at noon at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Weldon Short officiating. Burial will be in Depot Hill Street Cemetery in DeKalb.
Ms. Welch, 82, of DeKalb, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Kemper Community Hospital Nursing Facility in DeKalb.
Survivors include a son, Merrill Welch of Lauderdale; her sister, Ruthie Jones of St. Louis, Mo.; a grandson, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
ENDIE LEE GRIFFIN

DEKALB Services for Endie Lee Griffin will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Preston Pentecostal Church with the Elder Kelvin Woods officiating. Burial will be in Chamberlin Cemetery in Preston with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Griffin, 88, of Preston, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Hometown Hospice.
Survivors include nine children, Mattie Billips, J.C. Griffin and Ernestine Griffin, all of Denver, Colo., Len Griffin and his wife, Sue, and Edna Griffin, all of Omaha, Neb., Ray Griffin and Yvette McKenzie, both of Anderson, Ind., Albert Griffin and his wife, Jean, and Catherine Morries and her husband, Cecil, all of Preston; a daughter-in-law, Helen Brown of Preston; a son-in-law, Edward Mosley of Omaha; four sisters, Wavlean Ross, Tommy Doss and Mozelle Triplett, all of Louisville, and Luvy Supples of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Albert Woods and his wife, Linnie, of Preston; 46 grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two children.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Steven Andrew Hartley. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hartley, 40, of Meridian, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Marie Hartley; his father, W.A. "Pete" Hartley; his mother, Carol A. Simcik Yocum; his step-father, Donnie Yocum; his mother-in-law, Marie Wilder; half-sisters, Velissa Hartley and Melissa Burt; a stepbrother, Donald Yocum; a stepsister, Rena Rittiggers; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Kathryn Hartley; his grandmother, Alice Simcik; and his grandfather, Albert Simcik.
WILEY D. HARRIS
City of Meridian employee
Service sfor Wiley D. Harris will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery in Preston.
Mr. Harris, 60, of Meridian, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, in his home.
Register can be singed from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. No visitation.
POLLY HUDNALL

WAYNESBORO Services for Polly Hudnall were held June 6 at Freeman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating. Burial was in Heidelberg Cemetery. Memory Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hudnall, 90, of Heidelberg, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Ann McIlwain and her husband, Marty, of Heidelberg; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Edward Hudnall.
