Darnell, Hatcher

Malcolm and Bunny Darnell of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Lynn, to Louis Andrew Hatcher, son of Leo and Mary Hatcher of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 15, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Darnell is the granddaughter of Marian Bratton and the late A.E. Bratton of Tupelo, and the late Herman and Evelyn Darnell.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala., and received an associate's degree from Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a President's List Scholar and chosen for the Circle of Excellence.
Miss Darnell is employed by Roto-Rooter.
Mr. Hatcher is the grandson of the Rev. S.E. and Mary Sharp of Philadelphia, and the late Robert and Inez Hatcher.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received an associate's degree from Meridian Community College.
Mr. Hatcher is employed by the Lauderdale County E-911.
A reception will be held in the church family life center following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
