Community musicians wanted

Community musicians who are new to the area, or college students home from the summer, are invited to participate in Meridian Community College's Community Band.
The band, under the direction of Carey Smith, director of instrumental music at MCC, will present a patriotic concert June 29, at noon, at Bonita Lakes Mall. Rehearsals are under way and are set for June 9 and June 23, from 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. in the college's Ivy Hall, room 194.
