Austrom, McMullen

Rick and Beatrice Austrom of Surrey, Canada, announce the engagement of their daughter, Danae Richelle, to Richard "Monty" L. McMullen, son of Dr. Albert and Janell McMullen of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 8, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Stonewall Baptist Church.
Miss Austrom is the granddaughter of Ed and Ollie Elchuk, Marcel Bonneteau and the late Beatrice Bonneteau and Harold and Doreen Armstrong.
The bride-elect is a graduate of North Surrey High School in Surrey and received a degree in biology from William Carey College.
While attending Carey she was a member of the fast-pitch softball team and attended the college on a softball scholarship.
Mr. McMullen is the grandson of the late Robert and Tressie McMullen and the late J.T. and Edna Wilkinson.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and attended East Central Community College. He received a bachelor of arts degree in education from William Carey College.
Mr. McMullen is employed by the Hinds County School System as a boys baseball coach and girls basketball coach at Raymond High School.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
