McCoy, Ruffin

Charles and Virginia Jordan of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Vanessa McCoy, to Tracey Lamar Ruffin, son of Marvel and Jessie Ruffin of Meridian. Miss McCoy is also the daughter of the late Walter L. Bride.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 25, 2002, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss McCoy is the granddaughter of Mary B. McCoy of Meridian and the late Ike McCoy.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School. She is employed by the Meridian Public School District.
Mr. Ruffin is the grandson of the late Willie and Bernice Hearn of Meridian and the late Norman and Orcie Ola Ruffin.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School. He is employed by the city of Meridian.
A reception will be held at Boys and Girls Club following the ceremony.
