In an effort improve services to residents of Meridian and Lauderdale County, the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library has expanded the number of available locations where library patrons may return library material.
Two new book drops have been placed at FoodMax on North Hills Street and Winn-Dixie on Highway 19 North. Library book drops at FoodMax on Frontage Road North and Winn-Dixie on Highway 39 North are still available; library materials also may be returned at the library.
Library director Steve McCartney thanked the management of FoodMax and Winn-Dixie for their cooperation in helping the library better serve the needs of the people of Lauderdale County.
