Introducing expanded business coverage

By By Buddy Bynum / editor
May 5, 2002
Today's edition marks the launch of two improvements in The Meridian Star's coverage of business and community events.
First, see Section E for eight pages of business coverage, including the Money page that has been a Wednesday feature. These expanded business pages and the Money page will now appear on Sundays. Local business briefs and photos are welcomed.
Also, readers will note that beginning Tuesday, the Local Digest and Community Calendar have been condensed into a single feature that will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Items on this calendar will be arranged by date, giving information on upcoming community events.
To submit news items on your business or community events, call Stephanie Denham at 693-1551, ext. 3303, e-mail her at sdenham@themeridianstar.com, or fax to 485-1275.
We hope these changes add to your enjoyment of The Meridian Star. Questions, comments and story ideas are always appreciated. Direct them to editor Buddy Bynum at 693-1551, ext. 3213, or e-mail to bbynum@themeridianstar.com.
