    QUITMAN Services for Lawrence "Larry" Ray Thomas will be held today at 11 a.m. at Knight's Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. C.C. Burns officiating. Burial will be in Goodwater Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Thomas, 56, of Vossburg, died Monday, April 8, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include his wife, Grace Thomas of Vossburg; daughters, Heather Cottles of Meridian and Debra Reeves of Vossburg; a son, Donald Rowell of Vossburg; and six grandchildren.
    FRANK MCNAIR

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Frank McNair will be held today at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Union.
    Mr. McNair, 84, of Philadelphia, died Monday, April 8, 2002, at Neshoba County General Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II.
    Survivors include a son, Ray McNair of Philadelphia; daughters, Mary Rhodes of Magnolia, Ruth Helen Conn of Carthage, Rebecca Stokes and Nancy Nicholson of Philadelphia, Kay Vance of Meridian and Sarah Peebles of Greenville; sisters, Mary Errington of Florence, Ruth Watkins of Jackson, Esther Lott of Raymond and Sarah Upchurch of Byram; 18 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Robert D. McNair; and his wife, Mary Magdalene McNair.
    The family requests memorials be made to Gideon's International.
    LUCILE SAMPLE JENKINS

    BUTLER, Ala. Services for Lucile Sample Jenkins will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Butler. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Jenkins, 87, of Grove Hill, died Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at Grove Hill Hospital.
    Survivors include two daughters, Reba Hicks Oliver of Grove Hill and Betty Jenkins Scott of Vero Beach, Fla.; sisters, Jessie Mae Barber of Wichita Falls, Texas and Pat Cole of Shreveport, La.; brothers, Eugene Sample of Birmingham and Tiny Sample of Ararat; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

    Services for Mary M. Short will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
    Mrs. Short, 80, of Meridian, died Saturday, April 6, 2002, in her home.
    Survivors include three daughters, Mary Williams and Edwina Wilson of Meridian, Mildred Baines of Chicago; a son, Israel E. Short of Meridian; a sister, Shirley J. Robinson of Chicago; a brother, Israel E. McKinnis of Mendenhall; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Thursday 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    CURLEE COLEMAN SR.
    Retired U.S. Government
    Services for Curlee Coleman Sr. will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jessie Palmer Jr. officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Russell.
    Mr. Coleman, 71, of Marion, died Saturday, April 6, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II.
    Survivors include five daughters, Sheryl Coleman of Los Angeles, Sandra Conley and Millscent Clemons of Meridian, Angela Ricks of Phoenix, Ariz., and Metris Coleman of Los Angeles; sons, Curlee Coleman Jr. of Meridian and Eddie Coleman of Phoenix; a sister, Annie Bell Pringle of Russell; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Thursday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    MATTIE MOSLEY

    Services for Mattie Mosley will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Alpha Omega Holiness Church with the Rev. George Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Mosley, 65, of Toomsuba, died Friday, April 5, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include five daughters, Jessie Mosley, Mary Mosley, Tammy Mosley, Evelyn Mosley and Brenda Mosley; five sons, Oliver Mosley and his wife, Brandy, Telly Mosley, James Mosley and his wife, Rochelle, Charles Mosley and Larry Mosley, all of Toomsuba; sisters, Wanda Jenkins and her husband, Willie, and Bessie Mosley of Marion, Sarah Harris of Russell and Jo Ann Tubbs of Toomsuba; brothers, Samuel Harris of Toomsuba and Calvin Harris of Meridian; and 12 grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and two children.
    Visitation will be Friday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Estelle DuBose, 74, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, April 9, 2002, in her home.
