Chad Brunson is a sophomore starting catcher for the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans.
On Monday afternoon, Brunson enjoyed one of his best days at the plate getting a double and a triple against visiting Lamar School. The three-bagger broke open the contest as the Trojans went on to post the 13-2 victory.
He says he likes being a catcher.
One of the good things about the season is that Northeast has played a variety of opponents including Lamar.
