March 31, 2002
Meridian dentist Dr. Dan H. Singley was recently inducted into the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration.
Membership in the AADPA is by invitation only, but workshops and seminars are open to guests. The philosophy of the AADPA concerns the economics and management of an ethical dental practice. The Academy is associated with the American Association of Dental Schools and the American Dental Association. Programs have covered such topics as dentistry role in the political and economic scene as well as the socio-economic pressure on the private practice of dentistry.
Singley was inducted as a member during the Academy's annual meeting March 2.
Singley is past president of the Mississippi Dental Association, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Third District Dental Society and the Meridian Area Dental Society.
In addition to cosmetic and restorative dentistry, he provides general and preventive dental care, dental implants and gum therapy. He has been in practice in Meridian, since 1981.
