NEWTON Services for Geraldine Fick will be held today at 11 a.m. at Decatur United Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy Owens officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fick, 85, of Decatur, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at Brighton Nursing Home in San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of Decatur United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and Kappa Kappa Ioda. Mrs. Fick was a music teacher for Meridian Public Schools.
Survivors include a son, Leonard Fick and his wife, Tammy, of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Christopher and Robby Fick; two brothers, Hobart Wilcox of Atlanta and Charles Wilcox of Pana, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Fick.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Eddie Smith, Dr. Shelby Harris, Homer Burton, Charles Boggan and Mike McGrevey.
HAROLD THOMAS JONES
Graveside services for Harold Thomas Jones will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Old Suqualena Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jones, 84, of Meridian, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

FOREST Graveside services for William B. Huggins will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Eastern Cemetery. Ott and Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Huggins, 86, of Forest, died Saturday, March 30, 2002, at Lackey Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Arkansas and had been a resident of Forest for the past 33 years, formerly living in Meridian.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Huggins and a stepson, Bobby Hall, both of Meridian; a stepdaughter, Stella McNeer and her husband, Carlton, of Raleigh; a bother, James Huggins of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Erma Lee Williamson and Alice Kendall of Clarksdale and Willie Mae Hicks of Millbrook, Ala.; a granddaughter, Pam Daniels, grandsons, Mike Huggins and Jeff Huggins, a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Huggins, great-grandsons, Steve Hill and his wife, Kim, and David Daniels, great-great-granddaughter, Alexis Hill and a great-great-grandson, Jacob Hill, all of Meridian; granddaughters, Nikki McNeer of Raleigh and Samantha Wells of Brandon; and a grandson, Wayne McNeer of Raleigh.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Huggins of Forest in 1994; his first wife, Nancy Huggins of Meridian in 1984; a son, William "Butch" Huggins of Meridian; and a stepson, Larry Wells.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Ruby Kathleen Johnson were to be today at 10 a.m. at Scooba Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Rigdon and James Johnson Jr. officiating. Burial was to be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Scooba with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Johnson, 86, of Scooba, died Friday, March 29, 2002, in DeKalb.
She was a native of Wahalak and a member of Scooba Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, James William Johnson and his wife, Tommie Lou, of Port Charlotte Fla., Neely Vaughn Johnson and his wife, Martha Ann, of Scooba, Glenn Ray Johnson of Bay St. Louis and Terry Jack Johnson and his wife, Lisa, of Panola Ala.; three sisters, Jewell Stegall of Lauderdale, Annie Lois Hutcherson of Geiger, Ala., and Doris Britton of Eutaw Ala.; 10 grandchildren, Pamela Rhett of Nashville, Tenn., Angela Williamson of Atlanta, Christie Keyser of Port Charlotte, Fla., James Johnson Jr. of Tocoa, Ga., Neely R. Johnson of Scooba, Lacey Dean and Amanda Thomas of Huntsville, Ala., Christopher Johnson and Curtis Ray Johnson of Kennedy, Ala., and Stacey McNeil of Louin; and nine great-grandchildren, Jordan Rhett, Benjamin Rhett, Claudia Rhett, Amanda Dean, Sarah Thomas, Mary Neely Thomas, Abby Grace McNeil, Natalie Williamson and Tate McNeil.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Neely Johnson Jr.; one brother, Willard Vaughn; and parents, Chester and Annie Vaughn.
Pallbearers will be Otis Hutcherson, Henry Warren, Johnny Harpole, Tommy Adkins, Ronnie Britton, David Vaughn and Thomas Clay Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Watt, Bunky McDade, Eddie Sparkman, John Harpole and Otis Martin.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Haran M. Lovett, 76, of Meridian, who died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in his home.
