A Lauderdale County man remains in jail today after being charged with armed robbery in connection with the late March hold-up of the Super 8 Motel in Meridian.
Donnie Lard, 25, of 2621 Green Loop Road, Lauderdale, remains in the Lauderdale County jail on $20,000 bond.
Detective Deano Harper, a spokesman for the Meridian Police Department, said a possible second suspect in the armed robbery turned himself in to Kemper County sheriff's deputies on Saturday.
Eric McDonald, 23, of Route 1 Box 316, Lauderdale, surrendered Saturday.
