Shucktown added to Bailey Fire District

Lauderdale County supervisors voted Monday to add Shucktown to the Bailey Fire Protection Grading District a move expected to reduce fire insurance rates for residents.
Shucktown will be part of a fire district that carries a Class 8 rating. Fire districts are graded on a scale of 1 to 10 the lower the number, the better the rating.
The Bailey Fire Protection Grading District also includes Bailey and Pine Springs.
