Wanted: women, men, boys and girls of all ages, size, shape and color interested in modeling.
Bonita Lakes Mall is now accepting applications for anyone interested in membership on a mall fashion council that will be organized this spring.
Applicants must be at least 4 years old; they must complete an application and return it to the mall by March 8. White said a selection committee will screen applications.
Interviews and auditions should begin around March 18, with the council selected on or around April 1.
White said the council ideally will include a dozen boys and girls ages 4 to 8 and another 50 people ages 9 and up.
Council members also will represent a variety of sizes, he said, from petite to plus-size and all others in between.
Among the activities council members can expect include regular fashion shows at the mall featuring the latest styles available at Bonita Lakes retailers.
Freeze modeling events also will be a regular occurrence, White said, meaning council members will model apparel in store front windows, at center court and perhaps on podiums in the common area of the mall.
Applications are available from the Customer Service booth at center court or online at www.bonitalakesmall.com. A photograph no larger than 5-by-7 should accompany each application.
Applicants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the application. For more information, visit www.bonitalakesmall.com or call 693-4960.
