Benji and Lauri Brown of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Laura Ashley, on Jan. 28, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Brown of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Scott Legan of Monroe, La.
Mrs. Brown is the former Lauri Lynn Legan.
Barry and Tonia Ward of Philadelphia announce the birth of a son, Barry Elijah, on Jan. 29, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Debbie and Anthony Price and Aida Ward of Philadelphia.
Maternal grandparents are Russell and Katherine Hudnall of DeKalb.
Mrs. Ward is the former Tonia Hudnall.
Bryan and Dawn White of DeKalb announce the birth of a daughter, Taylor Nicole, on Jan. 29, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Maternal grandparents are Billy and Carolyn Gibson of DeKalb.
Mrs. White is the former Dawn Gibson.
Mark and Melissa Horn of Lawrence announce the birth of a daughter, Marissa Danielle, on Jan. 29, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Curtis and Mary Horn of Forest.
Maternal grandparents are Bobby and Shirley Hollingsworth of Lawrence.
Mrs. Horn is the former Melissa Dawn White.
Morris and Daphne Etheridge of Sweet Water, Ala., announce the birth of a son, John Thomas, on Jan. 30, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Milton and Lelia Etheridge of Sweet Water.
Maternal grandparents are Bobby and Betty Martin of Meridian.

James and Shyenne Harrell of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Valerie Nicole, on Jan. 30, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Harrell is the former Shyenne Weir.
Michael Tyrone Emerson and Phyllis Denise Bolden of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Phillip Michael Horatio, on Jan. 31, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Krystof and Tabitha Edgar announce the birth of a son, Patrick Drew, on Jan. 31, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Mrs. Edgar is the former Tabitha Copeland.
