Pelahatchie, Thomastown take wins
The Union Yellow Jackets will face Pelahatchie on Thursday night in a semifinal game of the Division 6-1A Tournament in Union.
Pelahatchie eliminated Pisgah 72-45 on Monday night.
In girls action, Thomastown downed Pisgah 53-49. Thomastown will face top-seeded Lake on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Union.

State softball umpires meeting set
There will be an ASA state softball umpires meeting Wednesday, Feb. 13 and Feb. 20 at the Sammie Davidson complex at 6 p.m. For more information call V.L. Mott at 483-7383.

UT's Jackson out with shoulder injury
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Tennessee junior forward Gwen Jackson separated her left shoulder and will miss the Lady Vols' game Tuesday against No. 18 Texas.
Jackson, of Eufaula, Ala., will undergo an MRI exam Tuesday to determine if there is further damage. She injured her shoulder in No. 3 Tennessee's 52-50 win at Georgia over the weekend.
Team officials didn't know when she will be able to return to the court. Following Texas, the Lady Vols (20-2) next face Mississippi State on Thursday and No. 6 Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Jackson has started 16 games this season, averaging 10.8 points and 6.8 rebounds a game.
Clarkdale baseball meeting set tonight
Clarkdale summer league baseball will hold their 2002 organization meeting on today in the Clarkdale school cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. This meeting is for all parents and guardians of those children interested in playing Dixie Youth baseball (ages 5-12).
