Lewis, Murphy

Merlyn Lewis of Meridian and Charles W. Lewis of Quitman announce the engagement of their daughter, Jan Elaine, to Roland Lenoid Murphy Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Murphy Sr. of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at 7 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church in Quitman.
Miss Lewis is the granddaughter of Catherine Gunter of West Columbia, S.C., and the late Leon Gunter; the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lewis of Quitman.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Mississippi State University.
Miss Lewis is employed by Gap, Inc.
Mr. Murphy is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Webb, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Murphy, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School. He is employed by Webster Electric Company.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
