50th anniversary
The children of Mr. and Mrs. William Hagwood will host a reception to honor their parents 50th anniversary. The event will be held Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at Causeyville Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
50th anniversary
Lavoy and Annie Goforth celebrated their 50th anniversary Jan. 16, 2002, with a dinner at Ole Farm Beef House. The event was hosted by their sons, Ricky Goforth and his wife, Kathy, and Paul Goforth; grandchildren, David Goforth, Jason Goforth and his fiance, Nicole Bryan, Ryan Goforth and his wife, Shan, and their daughter, Kaitlyn.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster Greer of DeKalb celebrated their 50th anniversary Dec. 29, 2001. The couple renewed their vows at Unity Springs Missionary Baptist Church in DeKalb. A reception followed at Howard Johnson in Meridian, where they were joined by many relatives and friends. Mr. Greer is a retired fireman from NAS Meridian and Mrs. Greer was a teacher at Kiddie Kollege in DeKalb. They have 10 children, 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
