QUITMAN Graveside services for Leslie Harold Collins will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Stonewall Cemetery with the Rev. Lowell officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Collins, 57, of Stonewall, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at V.A. Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Mia Dawn Northcut of Meridian; his mother, Anita Collins of Stonewall; two step-children, Lowell Martin and Lynette Martin of Meridian; two brothers, Harry Kay Collins and George Collins, a sister, Patricia Taylor, all of Stonewall; a granddaughter, McKenzie Bounds of Meridian; special friends, John Wayne Dean and Ralph Todd of Stonewall.
The family requests memorials be made to Sandy Haven Missionary Baptist Church.
ROBERT LEE MCCARTER

Graveside services for Robert Lee McCarter were held Saturday at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McCarter, 87, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at Riley Hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1914, and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Walterene D. McCarter, a daughter, Kay Luke, sons, Bobby McCarter, Kenneth E. McCarter and Tim McCarter, all of Meridian; a brother, Sam McCarter of Tuscaloosa, Ala; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the Special Olympics or a favorite charity.
Pallbearers were his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
INA AILEENE MAGGARD DUKES
Past president VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 79
Services for Ina Aileene Maggard Dukes were held Thursday, Jan. 17, at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Burial was in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Dukes, 79, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Riley Hospital. She was a member of Cokers Chapel Methodist Church and past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a PBX operator for almost 10 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Chrell Johnson of Pasadena, Texas, Toni White of Puckett and Tracey Alday of Suqualena; a son, Brad Dukes of Suqualena; sisters, Rubye Edney of Vimville, Freda Knight of Memphis, Tenn., Marie Carlisle of Vimville and Snookie Richards of Atlanta; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ina Mae Maggard; her husband, Henry Alvo Dukes; a daughter, Sandra Dukes; two grandchildren, Trenton Gerrard Able and David Michael Hoop.
The family requests memorials be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Cancer Fund or Merrehope. Mrs. Dukes was a direct descendent of John Gary.
Pallbearers were Trey Hammock, Bill Edney, Dee White, Hubert White, Marty Alday and Josh White.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Garnder Funeral Home for Island Spencer, 73, of Collinsville, who died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Lizzie Franklin of Clarke County, who died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
REV. P.F. WINDHAM
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home of DeKalb for the Rev. P.F. Windham, 86, of Collinsville, who died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice.
MARY ALICE MARTIN
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Mary Alice Martin, 89, of Meridian, who died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Queen City Nursing Center.
