    QUITMAN Graveside services for Joyce Earl Jenkins Cooper were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Elim Cemetery in Clarke County with the Revs. Jim Rickles and Ray McCorkle officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Cooper, 66, of Quitman, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in her home. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church and the Relay for Life Cancer Team. She was born Oct. 16, 1935 in Sylacauga.
    Survivors include four sisters, Betty Jenkins Means and her husband, Roy, Mary Jenkins Faile and her husband, Dudley, Eula Jenkins Thompson and her husband, Paul, and Mattie Jenkins Killen and her husband, J.D.; and several nieces and nephews.
    She is preceded in death by her husband, and her parents, Freddie Earl Jenkins and Mattie Todd.
    Pallbearers were Paul Thompson, J.D. Killen, David Jenkins, Dudley Faile, Blake Thompson and Ronnie Cook.

    BUTLER, Ala. Services for Lula Dee Thompson will be held today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home with the Rev. Levi Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
    Mrs. Thompson, 86, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro.
    Survivors include two sons, Howard Thompson Jr. of Mobile and Donnie Thompson of Gilbertown; three daughters, Martha S. Stafford of Millry, Cheryl Bodden of Angelton, Texas, and Geraldine Scott of Gilbertown; a sister, Carlee Boswell of Georgia; and a half-brother, Leo Stewart of Gilbertown.

    PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Cecille Morrow Allen will be held today at 1 p.m. at Morrow Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Shelton officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Allen, 77, of Meridian, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at R.P. White Nursing Facility in Meridian.
    Survivors include a son, Harry Allen; a daughter, Debbie Allen; three sisters, Colah Lewis of Jackson, Zell Walton of Madison and Frances Walker of Wilmington, NC.
    ARDELLE PITTMAN CHANEY

    UNION Services for Ardelle Pittman Chaney will be held today at 1 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Byron Howell and Hulan Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Baptist Cemetery.
    Mrs. Chaney, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a retired factory worker and also worked in department stores.
    Survivors include two daughters, Marie Williamson of Senatobia and Sharon Ellison of Marion; grandchildren, Edwin Lee "Eddie" Chaney of Decatur, Lauri Leigh Jones of Senatobia and Stefanie Leigh Ellison of Marion; great-grandchildren, Haley Chaney, Austin Chaney and Peyton Jones; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Chaney of Decatur; a brother, J.G. Pittman of Decatur; a half brother, Charles Pittman of Missouri; and a half sister, Iva Jean Litton of Greenville.
    She is preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Lee Chaney; and a son, Edwin Lee "Ed" Chaney.
    Pallbearers will be Eddie Chaney, Jerry Howard, Dale Williamson, Steve Ellison, Jonathan Jones, Larry Huey and Benjamin Pittman.
    Visitation will be today until service time at the funeral home.
    VICTOR HUDDLESTON

    Services for Victor Huddleston will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Duffee Community.
    Mr. Huddleston, 92, of Meridian, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in his home. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 31st Infantry Division. He was a life long member of the VFW and the American legion.
    Survivors include his wife, Julia F. Huddleston of Meridian; a daughter, Charlotte Huddleston of Clarksdale; two sisters, Verna Mae Dorman of Meridian and Majorie Smith of Duluth, Ga.; a brother, Prentiss D. Huddleston of Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Carrie Huddleston; a brother, Ernest "Bill" and two sister, Lucy Chesney and Lora Harris.
    Pallbearers will be H.F. Boswell, Johnny Gardner, Cliff Gardner, Jack Harris, Raymond Torrance and Dexter Torrance.
    DR. ROBERT P. RUSSELL
    JACKSON Services for Dr. Robert P. "Skip" Russell will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson. A memorial service will also be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Paris Yates Chapel on the University of Mississippi Campus in Oxford. Mark Seepe Funeral Home and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
    Dr. Russell, 56, a 24-year Jackson area ophthalmologist, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in his home in Brandon.
    He was a longtime Mississippi resident, graduate of the University High School in Oxford and a graduate of distinction from the University of Mississippi, class of 1967. He was a member of sigma Chi Fraternity and a loyal supporter of Ole Miss in every way.
    Dr. Russell received his medical degree in 1971 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Following his internship from 1971-72 at Baptist Memorial Hospital he served two years as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from 1972-74 at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla. He then completed his residency in ophthalmology from 1974-77 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Russell was associated with Dr. Bill Aden and Dr. Brannon Aden at the Mississippi Vision Correction Center.
    Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Olivia Walker Russell of Brandon; a daughter, Denise Russell of Greenville, N.C.; a son, Robert P. "Kip" Russell Jr. of Ridgeland; parents, Austin "Russ" and Ruby Pritchard Russell of Oxford; brother, Dr. Dave Russell and his wife, Lynn, nephews, David and Dan Russell, and a niece, Jennifer Russell, all of Meridian; his father-in-law, Tommie Walker and a brother-in-law, Wilkins Walker, both of Jackson.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the University of Mississippi Foundation or the Ole Miss Loyalty Foundation, P.O. Box 249, University, MS 38677.
    RUBYE NICHOLSON MCCOY
    Services for Ruby Nicholson McCoy will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Blackwater Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. "Dock" Hunnicutt officiating. Burial will be in Blackwater Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. McCoy, 84, of DeKalb, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include two sons, Milton Eugene McCoy Jr. and his wife, Elaine, of Lafayette, La., and David Lee McCoy and his wife, Debra, of DeKalb; a daughter, Joann Scott and her husband, Robert, of Columbia, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McCoy Sr.
    The family requests memorials be made to Blackwater Baptist Church or Chapel Hill Methodist Church.
    Pallbearers will be Bill Griffin, Walter Lee Quarels, Chuck Sanders, Mickey Sanders, Robert Smith and David Sorrels.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Cade, Billy Holloway and Chuck Sorrels.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
