PHILADELPHIA Services for Alda G. Hobby will be held today at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Ira Curtis Griffin officiating. Burial will be in New Black Jack Cemetery.
Mrs. Hobby, 100, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at Choctaw Residential Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Georgie Lou Lee of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a son, Billy Hobby of Brandon; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
MARY I. PERRY

Graveside services for Mary I. Perry will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Coker's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jessie Long officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Perry, 102, of Meridian, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, in Greensboro, Ala.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Marcia Ballard and her husband, Phillip, of Newbern, Ala., and William H. Perry III of Sylacauga, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Bradford and Allison Ballard; a sister, Willard Irby of Meridian; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Perry Sr. and a son, William H. Perry Jr.
JOSEPH MCWILLIAMS
WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. Joseph Gleason McWilliams died in his home in Coupeville on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2001. He was 78.
Mr. McWilliams was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, serving many stateside assignments, as well as in Egypt and Japan.
Cremation was held. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burley Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
INA AILEENE MAGGARD DUKES
Past president VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 79
Services for Ina Aileene Maggard Dukes were held Thursday, Jan. 17, at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Burial was in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Dukes, 79, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Riley Hospital. She was a member of Cokers Chapel Methodist Church and past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a PBX operator for almost 10 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Chrell Johnson of Pasadena, Texas, Toni White of Puckett and Tracey Alday of Suqualena; a son, Brad Dukes of Suqualena; sisters, Rubye Edney of Vimville, Freda Knight of Memphis, Tenn., Marie Carlisle of Vimville and Snookie Richards of Atlanta; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ina Mae Maggard; her husband, Henry Alvo Dukes; a daughter, Sandra Dukes; two grandchildren, Trenton Gerrard Able and David Michael Hoop.
The family requests memorials be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Cancer Fund or Merrehope. Mrs. Duke was a direct descendent of John Gary.
Pallbearers were Tray Hammock, Bill Edney, Dee White, Hubert White, Marty Alday and Josh White.

DEKALB Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Nona H. Coleman, 94, of DeKalb, who died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at her home.
LOIS SMITH BARRETT
UNION Arrangements were incomplete at Milling Funeral Home for Lois Smith Barrett, of Decatur, who died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, in Newton County.
