60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert P. Williams of Hickory recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. The couple was married Dec. 24, 1941, in Huntsville, Ala. A celebratory dinner was held at Boyette's Fish Camp in Chunky. It was hosted by their children, Dan Williams and his wife, Gloria, and Joe Williams and his wife, Tommie, all of Hickory, Faye Anderson and her husband, Michael, of Dothan, Ala. Also attending were grandchildren, Joey Williams and his wife, Amy, with great-grandchildren Hailey and Conner Williams, Susan Dyess and her husband, Andre, all of Hickory, David and Emily Anderson of Dothan, and special friend, Aline Plilar of Hickory.
