50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Grady Chaney will be honored with a reception celebrating their 50th anniversary Saturday, Jan. 12, at Oakland Baptist Church in Decatur. The reception will be held from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in the church fellowship building. Their children, Julia and Jackie Strebeck, Eugene and Wanda Chaney, Patsy and John Holyfield and grandchildren will host the event. The couple was married Jan. 12, 1952, at Hickory Baptist Church.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Westbrook celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Christmas Eve with their family. The couple was married Dec. 22, 1951, in Clarke County. Mrs. Westbrook is the former Clora Cosby of Tishimingo.
