Lady Rockets knock off rival Philly

The Neshoba Central Lady Rockets knocked off rival cross-county rival Philadelphia 54-42 to get to the championship game against West Lauderdale slatted for today at 7:00.
If the Lady Rockets want to win their own tournament, they will have to do it with an injured Miranda Rosar.
Rosar went down in the fourth quarter of the Philadelphia game with a bruised shoulder, but according to Rosar she will play.
Rosar seems to think they just might have a shot if the Lady Rockets pick up their defense.
Lady Rocket head coach Susan Fox' Smith hopes she will have Rosar on the floor in the championship game.
Rosar led the Lady Rockets with 17 points over the Lady Tornadoes.
The Lady Rockets outscored the Lady Tornadoes in every quarter except the last one, when they trailed by only one point, 10-9.
The Lady Rockets defeated Philadelphia 54-42, and they will host the Lady Knights at tonight in the championship game.

The Tornadoes knocked off the Whippets 72-52 in the second round of the Neshoba Central Tournament Friday night.
The Tornadoes were led in scoring by Mandrako Jackson 24, Diego Gill 16, and Bobby Goodin added 15.
The Whippets were led in scoring by Chris Hall with 18 points.
Philadelphia will play again today, as they will tangle with Neshoba Central at 8:30.
Kosciusko will host West Lauderdale at 5:30.

The Lady Knights of West Lauderdale took a 79-36 win over the Lady Whippets to advance to the championship today against Neshoba Central at 7:00.
The Lady Knights were led in scoring by J.J. Huggins 22, Jawanda Huggins 12, and Patty Monroe added 10 points.
The Lady Whippets were led in scoring by Robin Dawson with 14.
Kosciusko will play Philadelphia at 4:00.
