Simpson, Gunn

Carrie Lynn Gunn of Enterprise and Joshua Brad Simpson of Stonewall were married Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at the home of bride's parents, with the Rev. Jimmie Gunn officiating.
Parents of the couple are Martin and Jean Gunn of Enterprise, and Jerry Don and Gloria Simpson.
Grandparents of the bride are Claude and Carrie Little, and the late Harvey and Eileen Gunn.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Linda Rainer and the late Hinton Rainer, and the late Hal and Eloise Simpson.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Bobby Taylor, pianist; Joey Smith and Kelly Simpson, vocalists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an antique straight gown of embroidered floral lace with vibrant shimmering pearls underneath a sleek satin material for a subtle play of ivory color. The gown was enhanced by a mermaid train and a low-cut back. Her veil of various lengths fell from a crown of pearls.
Maid of honor was Tonia Carney of Butler, Ala. Other attendants were Melonee Keely of Enterprise, Haley Franks of Jackson and Jennifer Smith of Durham, N.C. Kaley Muise of Meehan was flower girl.
Eric Martin of Stonewall served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Kirk Murray and Keith Kidd of Enterprise, Austin Cochran of Stonewall, Matt Hale of Enterprise, Adam Hale of Meridian, J.D. Simpson and Adam Simpson of Stonewall. Kelton Little of Enterprise was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Ruby Jane Satcher.
After a honeymoon in Jackson at Fairview Bed and Breakfast, the couple resides in Enterprise.
