Elmejdoubi wins Jingle Bell Run

As 93 hopeful runners entered the 5K Jingle Bell Run, only Yousei Elmejdoubi could find his way into the winners' circle.
Elmejdoubi has won the race before, but it was held in Highland Park at that present time.
Elmejdoubi used a new track, to break the previous record, and set a new one for himself.
Elmejdoubi ran the 5K run in 14:39.
In other race action, Dawn English made her first debut in the Jingle Bell run, as she won the Ladies division with a time of 19:50.
This was the first time to be back on the track, after having a baby for English.
Frannie Childs took second place, as she finished with a time of 20:59, and Brandy Gamblin took third with a time of 21:49.
Curtis Fancher squeaked by his training friend Sameul Martin to take the win in the two mile walk.
Fancher walked the two miles in 19:58, while Martin was right behind him at 19:59.
In the one mile Fun Run for the children, Summer Crocker won the girl division with a time of 7:44. while Cody Gibbons won the boys division with a time of 8:40.
In his first Jingle Bell Run, Gibbons used experience to aid him with the win.
