TUPELO American Family Radio will broadcast more than 30 Christmas specials throughout the month. In addition, the station will play Christmas music 24 hours a day through Christmas Day.
Featured will be musical specials by a host of Christian artists, including Phil Keaggy, Darko, Brookly Tabernacle Choir, Glad, Janet Paschal, Dallas Holm and Michael Card. Several specials will be dramas, including "Birth in Bethlehem," "The Coming of Messiah," "One Bethlehem Night," "Joseph," "Emmanuel Has Come" and "Relations."

American Family Radio airs locally at 92.5 FM.
A prayer vigil for peace is held daily at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and an hour of prayer for peace is held from 11 a.m. to noon. The rosary is recited at 11 a.m., followed by private or public prayers for peace. Mass is held at 12:05 p.m. after Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday services; communion is held Monday.

SUNDAY
Fitkin's Memorial Church of the Nazarene's annual concert will be held at 5 p.m.
The Women's Choir, the Fitkin's Youth Choir and the Fitkin's Mass Choir will be featured.

YORK, Ala. The Seven Seals program will be held at Rock Chapel Baptist Church Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.
The Mount Carmel Baptist Church Choir will host their annual Choir Day at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. J. Towner will be the guest speaker.
Choirs, soloists and groups are encouraged to participate.
The church is located on York-Lauderdale Road.
Bishop Kenneth Carder and District Supervisor the Rev. Andrew Ray will visit Union and Mt. Zion United Methodist churches' charge for worship and fellowship.
Carder will speak at Mt. Zion UMC at 9 a.m. and Union UMC at 11 a.m. A fellowship meal will follow the worship service.
MONDAY
Briarwood Baptist Church will present a dinner theater presentation of "Christmas at Forest Grove" at 6:30 p.m. A second performance is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $8 per person or $20 per family; prices include meal. Limited seating and a nursery will be provided.

Broadmoor Baptist Church's annual Christmas drive-through nativity will be presented Dec. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free hot chocolate will be served.

EDINBURG Pine Grove Church of God's Annual Live Nativity Scene will be presented Dec. 15, 16 and 17.
The first presentation is scheduled from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.; the second will be from 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. The presentation will begin with Gabriel's visit to Mary and continue through the worship of the wisemen.
The church is located on Highway 16 East.
UNION A program of Christmas music will be presented by classical guitarist Dr. John DeChairo Dec. 15 a 7 p.m. at Union United Methodist Church. DeChairo is professor of guitar music at the University of Southern Mississippi.
UNION Union United Methodist Church will present "Light of the World," a musical presentation celebrating the Christ of Christmas, on Dec. 16 at 6 p.m.
The program will feature the church, youth and children choirs.

LAKE A Year-end Sing featuring The Freemans, Carole Gaddis, Hosanna and The Gibbs Family will be held Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. at The Sanctuary Worship Center. A $5 donation is requested.

GULFPORT The Gospelaires of Meridian will be in concert Dec. 30 at 4 p.m. at St. James Baptist Church.
