Boggan pumps in 41 to lead Enterprise

The Leake Academy boys remained undefeated at 9-0 with a 67-49 win over Canton Academy on Tuesday night.
Leake held a slim 40-37 lead after three quarters of play before outscoring CA 27-12 in the fourth to take the win.
Drew Wolverton led the Rebels with 19 points, while Daniel Jones scored 16 and Trey Langston hit for 12.
Enterprise Boys 78
Stringer 65
Cory Boggan pumped in 41 points to lead Enterprise High School to a 78-85 win over the Red Devils on Tuesday night.
Mitchell Burns added 16 points for the winners, who are now 4-4 on the year. Next up for Enterprise is a road game against Northeast Lauderdale on Friday night.
Scott Central Girls 71
South Leake 64
Scott Central stayed unbeaten in division play by beating South Leake 71-64 on Tuesday night.
The Lady Rebels improve to 2-0 in the division and 10-2 overall.
Britney Burks led Scott with 20 points. Katie Nickson had 18 followed by Marquita Anderson added 16 and Elisa Clay had 11.
Oak Hill Girls 53
Lamar 23
Oak Hill outscored Lamar 16-8 in the first quarter and 12-2 in the third to open up a big lead before closing out the 53-23 win with a big fourth quarter as well.
Libby Huff led Lamar with 12 points, while Myleia Shirley scored seven. Jade Orman led Oak Hill with 15 points, while Amanda Belcher scored 11.
The Lamar Junior High girls beat Oak Hill 30-26 behind 20 points from Cheryl Luquire.
Lamar plays host to Heritage Academy today with junior high action beginning at 4 p.m.

Lamar 29
Oak Hill built up a 42-14 halftime lead on the way to the 73-29 win over visiting Lamar on Tuesday night.
Jace Hill led Lamar with 11 points.
Ethel Boys 94
Noxapater 63
Ethel outscored the Tigers of Noxapater 27-11 at the end of the first quarter and then rolled to the 94-63 win.
Adam Forsman and Jonathan Hunter scored 19 each for Noxapater. The Tigers return to action today in the Ackerman Invitational.
Canton Girls 42
Leake 41
Despite a strong comeback, the Rebelettes dropped a 42-41 decision to Canton on Tuesday.
Canton led 23-21 at the half and 34-27 after three quarters before Leake began to fight back.
Kristen Caldwell led LA with 14 points, while B.J. Helton scored 11.
William-Sullivan Boys 85
Newton 79
The second quarter made the difference for the William-Sullivan boys, as they outscored the Tigers of NHS 21-12 to build up a 41-34 halftime lead on the way to the 85-79 win.
Bobby Lindsey led Newton with 32 points, while Keon Johnson scored 20. Newton hosts Kemper County on Friday.
Louisville Boys 49
Ackerman 48
The Wildcats used 15 points from Andrea Sims and 12 from Mario Kirksey to take the one-point, 49-48 win over the Ackerman Indians.
The Louisville boys take on Kosciusko on Friday and Choctaw Central on Saturday in the Louisville Wildcat Classic.
Forest Girls 65
Sebastopol 57 (OT)
The Lady Bearcats outscored Sebastopol 27-16 in the second half and 14-6 in overtime to take the 65-57 win.
Pharen Nelson scored 24 to lead Forest, while Photasha Derrick hit for 15. Ashley Johnson scored 26 and Laquita Triplett hit for 17 for the Lady Bobcats.
Louisville Girls 67
Ackerman 35
The Lady Wildcats of Louisville pounded Ackerman 67-35 behind 36 points from Dee Forrest.
LHS led 36-14 at the half. Next up for Louisville is an 8 p.m. game today against Kosciusko in the first round of the Louisville Wildcat Classic.
Stringer Girls 42
Enterprise 36
Enterprise was held to six first-half points as the Lady Bulldogs fell behind 21-6 after two quarters of play. EHS fought back, but fell just short, 42-36.
Kaccy Jimerson led Enterprise with 13 points, while Teela McBride scored 11.
Kemper County Girls 66
West Lowndes 62
Kemper County outscored West Lowndes 23-16 in the last quarter to take the 66-62 win.
Monique Mosley scored 13 for the winners, while Tamician Davis added 19. KCHS pays a visit to Newton on Friday.
William-Sullivan 67
Newton 57
The Lady Tigers dropped a 67-57 decision to 13-0 William-Sullivan.
Tonya Jordan scored 27 points for Newton, while Creoshia Williams hit for 11.
