Thanksgiving Ecumenical Celebration tonight

First Christian Church will host its Annual Thanksgiving Ecumenical Celebration tonight from 7-8. Meridian's fire and police departments will be honored. The sermon will be delivered by the Rev. Jimmy Harrison of Central United Methodist Church. The offering will benefit Hope Village for Children.
Churches participating include St. Patrick Catholic Church, First Presbyterian Church, Central United Methodist, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, First Baptist Church and First Christian Church.
A nursery will be provided. First Christian Church is at 1301 23rd Ave. For more information, call Dr. Tom Sikes at 693-1425.
