OBITUARIES FOR MONDAY, NOV. 12, 2001

THOMAS K. WIDENER
Retired from U.S. Steel
Services for Thomas K. Widener will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. Private graveside services will be at Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Widener, 92, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at The Speciality Hospital of Meridian. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the Meridian Model Railroad Club and Meridian Camera Club.
Survivors include a son, Ron Widener and his wife, Karen, and a daughter, Terry Wade and her husband, Dr. Stanley Allen Wade, all of Meridian; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
ESTELLE EMMONS TURNER KELLEY
BUTLER, Ala. Services for Estelle Emmons Turner Kelley will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church of Butler with the Rev. Jerry Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Brightwater Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kelley of Port Gibson died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include two sons, Garnet Turner and his wife, Pat, of Montgomery and Dr. Carlton Turner and his wife, Mary Ann, of Dallas; a daughter, Bobbie Cupit and her husband, John, of Port Gibson; a brother, C.A. Emmons of Butler; four sisters, Eddie Belle Broadhead and Ruth Gibson of Butler, Ida Broadhead of Needham and Carolyn Ezell of Hattiesburg; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
ALMA BRAND SOSEBEE
SARALAND, Ala. Services for Alma Brand Sosebee will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Lauderdale County with Radney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sosebee, 86, a native of Clarke County and long time resident of the Mobile area, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at a Mobile hospital.
Survivors include six children, Alva L. Griffin of Saraland, C.V. Easterling Jr. of Toomsuba, Victoria E. Mills of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Dorothy F. Hampton of Newark, Del., Alma B. Singleton of Perdido and David M. Easterling of Chunchula; a brother, Thomas Jackson Brand of Clarkdale; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Truck driver
Services for George E. "Bunt" Bishop will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Apostolic Church in Newton with the Rev. Robert Roncali officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Newton with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bishop, 80, of Newton, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, in Forest. He was born in Kemper County and raised in Neshoba County. He moved to Newton County where he made his home. He was a truck driver for Miller Transport for a number of years and worked for La-Z-Boy in Newton until his retirement. He was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Bishop, two sons, T.J. Bishop and Jimmy Bishop, all of Newton; a sister, Flora Hudson of Pascagoula; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home in Newton.

Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Donald L. Hood, 71, of Meridian, who died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at Riley Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Louis Saget, 88, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
