Clay, Holloman

Kyla Holloman of Quitman and Brock Clay of DeKalb were married Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Coopers Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harrell Moore officiating.
Parents of the couple are Stanley and Dianne Holloman of Quitman, Bill Clay of DeKalb and Brenda Brewer of Bailey.
Grandparents of the bride are Cleo and Sybil Williams of Quitman, the late Nell Thead Williams and the late O.H. and Sarah Holloman.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are J.W. and Virginia Bounds, Sadie Clay and the late B.H. Clay, all of DeKalb.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Allyn Doggett, soloist; and Rose Longwitz, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Basque bodice of her gown was covered in detailed beaded pearls and sequins. The gown featured a sleeveless slightly off-the-shoulder neckline with petite straps. The full organza skirt was gently adorned with embroidered lace motifs and a satin trimmed hemline. Her rounded head piece, covered in beads of pearls and sequins, held a elbow-length veil. She carried a bouquet of two dozen roses.
Matron of honor was Tonia Reeves Stringer of Bay Springs. Maid of honor was Aimee Elizabeth Fontenot of Quitman.
Other attendants were Brandi Bounds, Brook Bounds and Mitzi Clay, all of DeKalb, Beth Holloman of Columbus and Brandy Sims of Quitman.
Brooke Boney of Quitman was miniature bride and Kaylee Sarah Holloman of Quitman served as flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Alan Barnette of St. Louis, Ryan Clay and Gareth Sartin, both of DeKalb, Jeffery Murphy and Will Wilkerson, both of Bailey, and Josh Perkins of Meridian.
Ushers were Jas Bounds of DeKalb, Bradley Holloman and Jamie Holloman, both of Quitman, and Eric Holloman of Columbus, brothers of the bride.
Rice bag attendants were Kara Cook and Kaylee Sarah Holloman. Registry attendants were Kimberly Langley and Allison Mason.
Program attendants were Nicole Davis and Heather Downey. Greeters were Rita Carter, Kay Rolison and Mona Sims.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Jill Schroff, Joeann Smith, Patsy Harris, Teresa Matherme, Kathy Bounds, Kellie Cook, Jewel Dearman, Sandra Fontenot, Jeannie Goree, Beverly Latham, Judy Williams, Debbie Downey and Lea Pentecost.
Tea girls were Allison Davis, Belinda Latham, Brooke Latham, Ashley Smith and Alana Smith.
After a honeymoon at Walt Disney World, the couple resides in DeKalb.
