    Mrs. Smith is the former Angela Evans of Meridian.
    Terrie Madere and George Kraft announce the birth of a son, Kyle Michael Kraft, on Sept. 5, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Kimberly Evon McAfee of Toomsuba announces the birth of a daughter, Taylor Janae Norman, on Sept. 7, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Embry Wynn Shaw and Christina Tennille Carlisle of Toxey, Ala., announce the birth of a son, Elysah Wade Shaw, on Sept. 7, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Denise Lynette Burns of Meridian announces the birth of a son,Tyler Cortez Crawford, on Sept. 7, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Monette Ward of Shubuta announces the birth of a daughter, Taliyah Monet, on Sept. 9, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Nashonda James and James Reed III of York, Ala., announce the birth of a son, Dorian Deshun Reed, on Sept. 9, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Angela Roebuck of Union announces the birth of a daughter, Amber Evette McDonald, on Sept. 10, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Pam and Tony Grice of Collinsville announce the birth of a son, William Alexander, on Sept. 10, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital
    Mrs. Grice is the former Pam Williams.
    Jennifer and Danny Coleman of Ward, Ala., announce the birth of a daughter, Shayna Danielle, on Sept. 10, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Coleman is the former Jennifer James.
    Viola Kelly of Meridian announces the birth of a son, Ja'Markus Da'Shone, on Sept. 12, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Kristi and John Hendrix of Philadelphia announce the birth of a daughter, Anna Jordan, on Sept. 12, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Hendrix is the former Kristi Williams.
