Paternal grandparents are the Rev. Lamar Smith Jr. and Emma B. Smith of Toomsuba.
Maternal grandparents are the Rev. Edward Evans and Lillie Evans of Meridian.
Mrs. Smith is the former Angela Evans of Meridian.
Terrie Madere and George Kraft announce the birth of a son, Kyle Michael Kraft, on Sept. 5, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Kimberly Evon McAfee of Toomsuba announces the birth of a daughter, Taylor Janae Norman, on Sept. 7, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Embry Wynn Shaw and Christina Tennille Carlisle of Toxey, Ala., announce the birth of a son, Elysah Wade Shaw, on Sept. 7, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
