Becker, Pace

Kimberly Carol Pace of Newton and Brian Michael Becker of Wauwatosa, Wis., were married Saturday, June 2, 2001, in a garden ceremony in Leland, with the Rev. Dr. Frank Harmon officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Pace of Newton and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Becker of Wauwatosa.
Grandparents of the bride are Emmett Walker of Newton and the late Mrs. Walker; Christine Pace of Clarksdale and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Pace of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ellie Mainwaring of Waukesha, Wis. and the late Dr. G.T. Mainwaring and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Becker of Redwing, Minn.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Dr. Julie Maisel, flutist; Ty Maisel, violinist; and Catherine Mouton, vocalist.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore an original gown designed with a fitted spaghetti strap bodice of Alencon lace enhanced with a triple layered skirt of tulle accented with cascading sprays of Alencon lace appliques.
She carried a bouquet of white roses, lilies, wax flowers, asters and babies breath. For her hair, she chose a wreath of babies breath adorned with daisies.
Maid of honor was Molly Mitchell of Oxford. Other attendants were Catherine Mouton of Dallas and Amy Becker of Austin, Texas, sister of the bridegroom. Honorary attendants were Jenny Charbonnet, Melissa Leathers, Heather Munn, Betsy Potter, Joanna Sykes and Brooke Vowell.
Anna Katherine Leathers of Mason, Ohio, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Joe Demartini of Danville, Calif., Emmett Walker of Newton, grandfather of the bride, Emil Dresl of Austin and Matt Pittman of Indianola.
Will Lathers of Mason, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. Registry attendant was Lennon Parham of Brooklyn, N.Y.
A reception was held at Leland Garden Clubhouse following the ceremony. Music for the reception was provided by the Maisel Duo.
After a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple resides in Nashville, Tenn.
