40th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Mayatt
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Mayatt of Meridian will celebrate their 40th anniversary today. The couple was married Sept. 2, 1961, at Arrowood Baptist Church by the late Rev. Lee Hudson. The Mayatts have one daughter, Kathy Ethridge and her husband, Wayne, a son, David Mayatt and his wife, Jennifer; and four grandchildren, Nathan and Anna Katherine Ethridge and Bailey and Morgan Mayatt, all of Collinsville. Mrs. Mayatt is the former Jennie Harper of the Long Creek Community.
50th anniversary
T.C. and Coleene Vincent
T.C. and Coleene Vincent of Meridian celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 28, 2001. They were honored with a dinner party at The Landing Restaurant, hosted by Teri and Edwin Purvis, Tony and Linda Vincent and Tommy and Sherra Vincent. The Vincents have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
