Birdsong, Roy

Brenda Birdsong of Pontotoc and Anthony and Cyndi Birdsong of Winona announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacie Marie, to Wesley Todd Roy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Roy of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at 11:30 a.m. at Victorian Gardens Wedding Chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
Miss Birdsong is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Havens of Winona and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar D. Birdsong of Indianola.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a degree in accounting from Mississippi State University.
While attending USM, she was a member of Alpha Theta Chi and the Golden Key National Honor Society. She is employed by Rexel Inc.
Mr. Roy is the grandson of Alice Gaylord of Montgomery, Ala. and the late Marvin Roy; Mildred Thierry of Vandilia, Ill., and the late William Thierry.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa and currently attends Meridian Community College pursuing a degree in secondary education and coaching. Mr. Roy is employed by Winn Dixie.
A reception will be held at Calvary Christian School on Aug. 18, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend the reception.
