The work of two artists will be on exhibit at the Meridian Museum of Art through Sept. 13.
Both have had their work exhibited in museums all over the country.
Sabyna Sterrett's work, title "Flying High, Flying Home," is a series of aerial views of Mississippi.
Elizabeth Schafer's series of paintings is titled: "Expressions of Jazz."
Raised in Evansville, Ind., Schafer is a board member of the Mississippi Art Colony.
The Artists reception will be Saturday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. The gallery talk by the artists is at 6:45 p.m.
The museum is located at 628 25th Ave., next to City Hall. Museum hours are 1 p.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. For more information, call 693-1501.
