CMA nominates 'Breakfast Bunch'

COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION Scotty Ray Boyd, left, and Debbie Alexander, hosts of "The Breakfast Bunch" on WOKK radio each morning, have been nominated as "Broadcast Personalities of the Year" by the Country Music Association. They will learn in November if "the third time is the charm." The duo has twice before been nominated for the award. Alexander and Boyd are up against small-market personalities from Fayetteville, Ark., Lexington, Ky., Dover, N.H., and Topeka, Kan. The announcement of the winner will come at the 35th Annual Country Music Association Awards to be broadcast on CBS from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on Nov. 7.
