Underwood expects big things at ECCC

With a strong sophomore class back and ready to go, East Central Community College Head Coach Terry Underwood is looking for big things from his Warriors in 2001.
East Central opens the fall slate with a road game to always tough Mississippi Delta Community College next week in Moorhead.
Because of the returning experience on both sides of the ball, Underwood is optimisitic that the Warriors can land that elusive playoff berth.
The Warriors also appear strong in their linebacker spots.
Another area that got a big boost is the kicking game. The Warriors were able to pick up former University of Alabama place-kicker Danny Haynes.
As for the openr with Delta, Underwood expects a tough battle.
