Clarkdale tops Warriors

The Clarkdale Lady Bulldogs come away with a 5-1 victory over Choctaw Central after a low scoring struggle Thursday Night.
The battle was won off the arm of pitcher Kaylea Thrash.
The Bulldogs came out early with three runs in the first. They followed up with one in the second and one in the fourth.
Choctaw Central came up with a late run in the fifth. Both teams had three errors.
Multiple hitters for Clarkdale came from JorD'an Orr (3-4) and Brandi Wright (2-3).
Clarkdale will be traveling up to New Hope this weekend for a round robin while Choctaw Central will return to Meridian for an Invatational Tourney.
The Northeast Lady Trojans laid down the law with an impressive 21-0 victory over Laurel Monday night.
The Trojans were led on the mound by pitcher Blair Rawson, who is now 5-0 pitching. Rawson also went 2-4 at the plate.
Multiple hitters for the offensive pounding included Raleigh Odom (2-3, triple, double), Jenifer Bristow (2-4, 2 doubles), and Amber Gray (2-3).
Toughnose consistency came from Katie Bergin going 4-4 at the plate with a double and a triple.
The Trojans stand at 5-0 for the year.
