Quitman's Valentine represents state in NBC

Kyle Valentine of Quitman recently played in the National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series in Wichita, Kan.
Valentine was a member of the Hattiesburg Wheelers of the Cotton States League. He was selected to the all-star team, which won the qualifying tournament in Jackson.
He was also selected to the Mississippi All-State team.
Valentine will be a junior pitcher at William Carey College in Hattiesburg. He was a standout performer for Jones Junior College and Quitman High School.
