Hopkins, Pickard

Dana Pickard and Jeffery Hopkins, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby Henley officiating.
Parents of the couple are Steve Pickard and Debbie Pickard, both of Meridian, and Charles and Patsy Hopkins, both of Chunky.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Bug Pickard of Meridian, Mrs. Willard Stewart of Meridian, and the late Ernest Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stewart Jr.
Grandparents of the groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. David Cook.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Suzette Landrum, pianist, and Stephanie Holden, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a full length, white satin gown with a scoop neckline. The bodice was accented with lace flowers, beaded pearls and sequins. A semi-train completed the gown.
Maid of honor was Tiffany Rawson, cousin of the bride, of Meridian.
Other attendants were Stefanie Ballard, sister of the bride; Renae Pickard, sister of the bride; and Pam Thompson, aunt of the bride, all of Meridian.
Anna Landrum of Meridian was flower girl.
The father of the groom was best man.
Groomsmen and ushers were Jeremy Hopkins, brother of the groom, of Chunky; and Brad Robert, Travis Irby, Tyler Thompson, Thomas Marshall and Caleb Ethridge, all of Meridian.
Ben Thompson and Will Thompson, both of Meridian, were ring bearers.
Rice bag attendants were Lydia Holden and Lauren Holden.
Program attendant was Robin Bateman.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Robin Bateman, Leslie Aycock, Christy Aycock, Elizabeth Holden and Rebecca Rawson.
The couple will reside in Meridian.
