Abston, McCay

GILBERTOWN, Ala. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Abston of Gilbertown announce the engagement of their daughter, Misty Denette, to Benjamin Maxwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. James McCay Sr. of Meridian, Miss.
The wedding will be held Saturday, August 18, 2001, at 6 p.m. at Gilbertown Baptist Church.
Miss Abston is the granddaughter of James and Velma Abston of Gilbertown and the late Joe and Betty Nix.
The bride-elect is a graduate of South Choctaw Academy and is attending the University of West Alabama, where she will receive a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Miss Abston is employed by BankPlus.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School.
Mr. McCay is employed by Pettingill Electrical Services.
A reception will be held at The Water Valley Lodge.
