Pickering to co-host faith-based forum at JCJC
U.S. Rep. Chip Pickering and the Mississippi Faith-Based Coalition for Community Renewal are hosting a "Faith-Based Forum" Tuesday.
The event will be from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville at the C.L. Neill Student Center, 2nd floor, Room 217. The public is invited to attend.
Union to host Country Day'
Union's 25th annual Country Day will be Aug. 25, in downtown Union. The Antique Car Parade will precede the program.
A talent show will take place at 7 p.m. Friday in Union City Park. Acts must be country or gospel in origin and a $10 entry fee is required.
Owners of antiques cars are asked to preregister by calling Union Chamber of Commerce office at 774-9586.
