Chandlee, Stuart

Joetta Stuart of Porterville and Mark Thomas Chandlee Jr. of Collinsville were married Saturday, June 9, 2001, at Bay Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Oscar Poole officiating.
Parents of the couple are Edward and Sue Stuart of Porterville and Mark and Shirley Chandlee of Collinsville.
Grandparents of the bride are Johnetta Buchanan of Porterville and the late Hunter Buchanan; Ruby Stuart of DeKalb and the late Criss Stuart.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Shirley Mabry of Collinsville and the late Reuben C. Mabry and Walter and Maxine Chandlee of Charleston, Ill.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mary Ellen Brown, pianist; and Gwen Clifton, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal short sleeve gown of white matte satin. The fitted bodice was highlighted with Alencon lace and a V-neckline. The fully gathered skirt flowed into a chapel-length train which was adorned with beaded lace appliques.
Bridesmaids were Lacy Stokes of DeKalb, Mary Ann Grantham of Porterville, Danielle Williams of Scooba and Emily Luke of Meridian. Brittany Hedgpeth of Meridian was flower girl.
Groomsmen and ushers were Mark Chandlee Sr., Chris Broome and Anthony Chandlee, all of Collinsville, Lee Stuart and Scott Wiggins, both of Porterville. Jon Hunter Stuart of Porterville was ring bearer.
Program attendant wasPenni Hairston Wallace.
A reception was held at Timberview Lodge following the ceremony. Assisting were Debi Whitt, Michelle Stuart, Hope Mabry and Pam Grice.
After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Porterville.
