Josh Snider went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs for Meridian. He also made a leaping catch at second base with the bases loaded to end a North Charleston threat.
Mann Dubose went 1-for-3 and drew three intentional walks.
Brad McKee went 2-for-6 and turned a catch to deep center field into a double play in the bottom of the sixth to snuff a bases-loaded threat by the home team.

The team is expected to return to Meridian around 8 p.m. today.
North Charleston defeated Texas 7-2 in Thursday's early game.
