Birth Announcements

Phillip and Geneva Griffith of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Clayton Gage, on Feb. 14, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Paternal grandparents are Billy Wayne and Mary Anne Griffith of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Pat Clay of Meridian and the late Frankie Clay.
Mrs. Griffith is the former Geneva Clay.
Ginger Blackwell of Meridian announces the birth of a son, Kaleb Cline, born June 6, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Maternal grandparents are Kathy Boutwell of Meridian and David Blackwell of Shreveport, La.
Jason and Kim Pickett of Toomsuba announce the birth of a daughter, Alyssa Jeanette, born July 9, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Kevin and Vickie Pickett of Lake and Shelia and Excel Williams of Toomsuba.
Maternal grandparents are Diane and Richard Strait of Scottsville, Texas, and Wayne Townsend of Union.
Mrs. Pickett is the former Kim Townsend.
A daughter, Dixie Leigh, was born to Tyler and Jena Wiggins of Blackwater on July 10, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Don and Lori Wiggins of Collinsville and Jan Nowlan of Bailey.
Maternal grandparents are Mike and Dianne Culpepper of Collinsville.
Mrs. Wiggins is the former Jena Leigh Culpepper.
Jonathan and Yolanda Pruitt of Newton announce the birth of a daughter, Ariana Mareia, born July 10, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandfather is Purvis Moore of Newton.
Maternal grandparents are Johnnie and Evone Pruitt of Newton.
Mrs. Pruitt is the former Yolanda Maria Moore.
William Cole, a son, was born to Casey and Melissa McElhenney of Collinsville on July 11, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Cupit and Brenda McElhenney of Union.
Maternal grandparents are Mickey and Linda May of Collinsville.
Mrs. McElhenney is the former Melissa Lynn May.
Dennis and Stacy Coate of Meridian announce the birth of a son, James Drew, born July 11, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are James Coate of Coffeeville, Ala., and the late Betty Coate of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Jere and Faye Skelton and Jerry and Marie Laird, all of Meridian.
Mrs. Coate is the former Stacy Laird.
A son, Jacob Matthew, was born to Matthew and Bridgett Hitt of Little Rock on July 12, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Bobby Ray and Barbara Hitt of Philadelphia.
Maternal grandparents are Pete and Glenda Hines of Little Rock.
Mrs. Hitt is the former Bridgett Marie Hines.
Vince and Heidi Walters of Meridian announce the birth of twin sons, Thomas Logan and Tyler Humphrey, born July 12, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Tom and Carol Walters of Biloxi.
Maternal grandparents are Milton and Betty Papke of Fairfax, Va.
Mrs. Walters is the former Heidi Papke.

Tracee Holt and Anthony Gregory of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Vanicia Shaei Gregory, born July 14, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
A daughter, Chloe Arielle, was born to LeAnna and Jonah Romans of Philadelphia on July 14, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Romans is the former LeAnna Fadale.
Kristy and Ross Mitchell of Walnut Grove announce the birth of a son, Nicholas Kyle, born July 15, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Mitchell is the former Kristy Anthony.
