Taylor, Hankins

The Rev. Wayne and Mary Ann Taylor of Lucedale announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Ann, to Stephan Harold Hankins, son of Harold and Judy Hankins of Quitman.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at 6 p.m. at Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church in Quitman.
Miss Taylor is the granddaughter of Preston and Ouida Taylor of Stonewall; the late Bonnie Cooper of Crawford and the late Leo and Irene Bishop of Memphis, Tenn.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School and attended Jones County Junior College. She is currently a senior at Mississippi State University pursuing a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
At MSU, she is a member of Alpha Theta Chi, Kappa Delta Pi, Gamma Beta Phi and a National Dean's Scholar. Miss Taylor is employed by F.U.M.C. Weekday Ministries of Starkville.
Mr. Hankins is the grandson of Sue Hankins of Shubuta and the late L.G. Hankins; Clara Satcher of Stonewall and the late S.W. Barry.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School and attended Jones County Junior College. He received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University. He is also a graduate of MSU's Co-op program, where he was employed by Tecumseh Products of Tupelo.
While attending MSU, he was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering and participated in intramural sports.
Mr. Hankins is employed as an associate engineer in the engineering test and trails department at Northrop Grumman Litton Ingalls Shipbuilding of Pascagoula.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
