Ross McWilliams claimed the Briarwood Country Club Championship Wednesday, holding off fast-charging Clay Bounds for a three-shot victory.
McWilliams, who fired an 81 in Tuesday's opening round, shot an identical round Wednesday for a 162 total to claim overall and 14&15 age division crowns.
Bounds followed up his 85 Tuesday with an 80, good enough to win the 12&13 age group.
Erik Tolleson was third overall with a 172 total, taking the runner-up spot in the 14&15 division. Brok Hollingshead finished at 179 to place second among the 12&13's.
Leigh Phillips shot 185, while Cole Clopton shot 190 in the 14&15 age group. Russ Mayatt totaled 211 in the 12&13 division.
Meanwhile, 10-year-old Chad Bounds, who fired a very impressive even par 36 Tuesday, followed it up with a 9-hole round of 46 Wednesday to finish at 82, first in his age group and among the 11&12 year olds. Lee McCarty was second in among the 10&11's with a 119, while Josh Ellis shot 136 and Tyler Hughes 137.
Neil Robinson carded a 107 total to win the 11&12 division, while Blaine Prince was runner-up with a 120 and Daniel Fulton took third with a 127.
In the 8&9 division, Cain Mayatt took first with a 54 over a two-day 9-hole round. Ross McCarty was close behind in second with a 56, followed by William Fulton at 58 and Dylan Rials shot 82.
