OBITUARIES FOR FRIDAY, JULY 13, 2001

LORAINE WEBB YORK
CLEVELAND Services for Loraine Webb York will be held today at 2 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Shelby Cemetery.
Mrs. York, 29, of Gunnison, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, in Philadelphia.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Allen York and three children, Samantha York, Rebecca York and Matthew York, all of Gunnison; her mother, Dorothy Scruggs Campbell of Meridian; two sisters, Nell Keyes of Savannah, Ga. and Gwen Campbell of Charleston, S.C.
ADA BELL TURNER

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Ada Bell Turner will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Needham Assembly of God with the Revs. James Irby and Randy Sheridan officiating. Burial will be Brightwater Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Turner, 83, of Butler died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Willow Trace Nursing Center.
Survivors include her son, Cecil Lamar Turner, of Mobile; two daughters, Dorothy Goldman of St. Stephens and Voncille Humphreys of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two brothers, Columbus Manley of Needham and Robert Manley of Butler; three sisters, Lenoir Kelley, Christine Turner and Vernelle Irby, all of Needham; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
LEROY EDWARD BURRAGE

Graveside services for Leroy Edward Burrage will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery in the Meehan community.
Mr. Burrage died Thursday, July 5, 2001, in the Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was a native of Meehan, an Army veteran and POW in World War II.
Survivors include a son, Walter Leroy Burrage and a daughter, Sandra Lee Notgrass, both of Houston; two sisters-in-law, Frances and Opal Burrage; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriett; four brothers and two sisters.
ROY EVAN TUCKER

Services for Roy Evan Tucker will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. at East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Grant Duncan and G.C. Cooley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Clarke County with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tucker, 25, of Quitman, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, on Highway 145 North in Quitman.
Survivors include a wife, Amy S. Tucker, a son, Marcus Lee Herrington, two daughters, Chelsy Alexis Tucker and Kelsy Erin Tucker all of Enterprise; his parents, Charles Tucker and Martha Huffman, three brothers, Troy Allan Tucker, John Evan Tucker and Jonathon Huffman; three sisters, Shelia Pearson, Brandy Huffman and Amanda Ford, all of Quitman; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Harriett Carr will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Lauderdale with the Rev. Obedial Clemons officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Carr, 107, of Lauderdale, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Ledia Hopson of Lauderdale; a sister, Iona Hopson of Meridian; 42 grandchildren, 138 great-grandchildren, 177 great-great-grandchildren and four great-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and five children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m.-7 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Chapel in Meridian.
LYNDON J. STEWART

Services for Lyndon J. Stewart will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stewart, 23, of Meridian, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include his mother, Leona Stewart and his father, William Wade, both of Meridian; three sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Eula Warbington, 79, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at Riley Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Paul McGee, 91, of Meridian, who died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Meridian Community Living Center.

Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Clifton Adams, 72, who died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Monfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko.
